About Criterion 508 Solutions
WE ARE FIRST AND FOREMOST SECTION 508 EXPERTS. Most of us are also IT and eLearning experts who happen to be disabled. However, we have only one goal and that is assisting our clients to become Section 508 compliant and training client developers to maintain their compliance.
To accomplish this goal, Criterion 508 Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2000 as a team of industry experts who work together to provide clients with the most comprehensive Section 508 solutions available. Criterion’s team of 508 experts includes instructional designers, eLearning experts, Freedom Scientific (JAWS), ZoomText, Dragon and Adobe beta testers.
In 2007, Criterion was awarded The Electronic Document Industry’s (Xplor) “Innovator of the Year” award, recognized by a joint resolution of the State of Iowa House and Senate, and awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Iowa Commission of Persons with Disabilities.
Celebrating our Ten Year Anniversary as an award winning company, Criterion’s project teams and eLearning experts combine decades of industry experience with award winning Section 508 compliant solutions and eLearning based Section 508 technical training.
Our History
Criterion was founded in 2000 by Anna Bradley, M.S., Ed.S. The compliance criterion that Bradley and her team developed to measure and document Section 508 compliance, and train client developers, is considered the most comprehensive in the industry.
Prior to founding Criterion, Ms. Bradley spent more than 15 years as an executive e-commerce management consultant to numerous Fortune 500 corporations. Anna is a graduate of Drake University where she earned both Masters and Specialist graduate degrees and completed Drake University’s Doctoral program in educational leadership.

Today, with just a handful of 508 vendors in the industry, many still believe that “It is impossible to be totally 508 compliant” or “It is too expensive”. However, Criterion has assisted hundreds of clients to become 508 compliant with our reasonably priced solutions over the past decade.
