“Criterion was great to work with! They addressed all of our Section 508 issues in a quick and economical manner. I would refer Criterion to anyone needing Section 508 compliance solutions and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.”
This course describes how to test and repair the most common accessibility issues found in PDF documents and fillable forms using Adobe Acrobat Professional. The first half of the course focuses on basic PDF document accessibility testing techniques. The second half of the course addresses advanced forms auditing. Since form fields are interactive, these PDF elements require additional modifications to ensure accessibility.
Students taking this course should have access to and a solid understanding of Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0. This course is not intended to teach documentation professionals how to use Adobe Acrobat, but rather only how to test and repair PDF files for accessibility.
